SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. — A Pike County man was arrested for multiple charges, Wednesday night, after fleeing the state because of a broken headlight.
Kentucky State Police attempted to stop 42-year-old Andrew Eastwood, of Pinson Fork, in the parking lot at Appalachian Plaza around 9:30. According to the arrest citation, once police activated their lights, Eastwood accelerated, exited the parking lot and attempted to flee. Eastwood allegedly ran a stop sign and continued into Williamson, West Virginia. The vehicle stopped in the parking lot of Goodwill and Eastwood allegedly began to flee on foot.
Eastwood was arrested a short time later and charged with various traffic violations, endangering the welfare of a minor, wanton endangerment, and fleeing or evading police. He was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
