PIKEVILLE, Ky. — The Pikeville Panthers captured their fourth 15th Region All A Championship as they cruised passed the Shelby Valley Wildcats by the final score of 63-41 Sunday afternoon from the East Kentucky EXPO Center. Wyatt Battaile led the Panthers with 23 points. However the play of the night – take that back – the play of the year by dunking over a Shelby Valley player.
Pikeville will face Somerset Thursday evening at 6:30 pm from the ALL A State Boys Tournament which will be held at EKU.
