Pikeville, Ky.–Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) would like to inform the community about scam phone calls appearing to come from a PMC number. Scammers have altered the caller ID number to make it look as if PMC is calling. These calls play a recording asking for your credit card information. Please be aware that PMC will never call and ask for payment over the phone, ask for your credit or debit card numbers or personal information in this way. PMC is advising those who receive these calls to disregard the call and hang up immediately.
