WISE, Va. — Three people being sought by the Wise County Sheriff’s Office have been found, and now one of them is being charged with attempted murder.
Police had asked for help locating Lewis Wesley Hickman and Paige Elizabeth Carroll, both of Big Stone Gap, and Aaron Leigh Adams, of Norton, who were wanted for questioning about a drive-by shooting that happened Saturday on Back Valley Road.
Carroll and Adams were found yesterday evening, but Hickman remained on the run. He was found this morning by the Wise and Lee County sheriff’s offices and Virginia State Police. Police announced after his capture their intent to charge him with first-degree attempted murder.
Hickman also faces outstanding charges in both Wise and Lee counties, as well as a probation violation.
