Police chief victim of burglary

MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. — The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man allegedly tried to break into a home early Tuesday morning.

According to a Facebook post that has since been deleted, a male allegedly came to Williamson Police Chief Grady Dotson’s home in a silver Hyundai Santa Fe and knocked on the door. He then went into the garage and allegedly stole tools.

The sheriff’s office has some leads and is following up on the investigation.
