A young Prestonsburg Elementary student donated N95 and surgical masks to healthcare workers in need Monday.

According to a Facebook post by the City of Prestonsburg, Lucas Cobern, the young gentleman pictured above, is a 7 yr. old from Prestonsburg Elementary School. Lucas stepped up as part of #TeamKentucky and answered Gov. Beshear’s call to donate personal protective equipment to the Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center.

Lucas’ good deed has not gone unnoticed and should inspire others to step up and help by donating PPE to our frontline healthcare workers who risk their lives on a daily basis.
