Drivers on one Pike County road will have to plan for alternate routes so crews can fix a 200 foot long break in the pavement.

Highway District 12’s contractor is working on Kentucky 1441 in the Pompey – Raccoon area. Due to the size of the equipment needed for the job and the narrow width of the roadway, the road will be closed from 7:30 in the morning until 6 in the evening each working day. The road will be open all other times and on weekends. They estimate this work to continue for about three weeks.
