Recent heavy rains and flooding have caused some damage to the KY State Highway 1428 road. This road was mainly used as a shortcut from US 23 to multiple locations in Painstville. Mary Westfall-Holbrook, the Chief District Engineer of Highway District 12, states that they have already begun rebuilding and reinforcing this road so that they can prevent future problems from occurring.
