Nightmare on Main and the YMCA partnered together to provide a safe trick or treating event at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Thursday. This event was created for all individuals in mind and included a morning block for those with special needs to attend. City of Pikeville’s Director of Tourism, Jimmy Taylor says that they provided inflatables, food, and treats for the special needs children so they can enjoy Halloween like everyone else. He also says that this is the first year that they provided a petting zoo for the kids. Taylor says the evening block starts at 6:00 PM through 8:00 PM and will bring over 6,000 trick or treaters to the Arena.
