Lawrence County, KY — Louisa Police are investigating a shooting that occurred during the weekend. According to authorities, the shooting took place Sunday evening shortly before midnight. Officers found 37-year-old Bradley Meade of Bevinsville, Kentucky had been shot in the leg while visiting the residence of his girlfriend, 44-year-old Jennifer Moore of Louisa. According to investigators, a verbal argument began between Meade and 41-year-old Ryan Young of Louisa when Young arrived at the residence and allegedly started shooting from his vehicle striking Meade in the upper left leg. Meade was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center where he was treated and released. An arrest warrant has been issued for Young on charges of Assault 1st degree and Wanton Endangerment 1st degree. Authorities believe that Young could be in the Wayne, West Virginia area. If you have any information on Young’s location you are asked to contact your local law enforcement agency.
