The APP hosts first-ever “virtual open mic night”

The Appalachian Center for the Arts in Pikeville will be hosting their first-ever Virtual Open Mic Night Thursday, April 30 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

According to a statement from the Executive Director of The Appalachian Center for the Arts Robin Irwin, “The Appalachian Center for the Arts is hosting its first Virtual Open Mic Night, tonight at 7:00 PM at…wherever your computer is located in your house. Watch on our YouTube channel. If you are interested in performing tonight, message us here at education@theapparts.org by 5:00 PM. All our welcome, but please make the material suitable for all ages! Come be seen and see “virtually” the talent from the mountains!”

The Appalachian Center for the Arts is asking for instrumentalists, singers, story-tellers, dancers, etc. to take part in this virtual experience and this event is for ages 5 years old and up.
