“Mr. Mullins decided that he was going to run on foot. He took off running across a grassy field and then the four-lane into a briar thicket. Our K-9 Litta came down and was immediately able to track him to his location and we were able to take him into custody without further incident. Litta the K-9 dog was able to go back into the room and make several positive hits for drugs. Upon searching those locations we were able to find a small case with several baggies of what appears to be crystal meth prepackaged for sale. Through further investigation we were able to find out that it actually belonged to Mr. Mullins.”

Benita Jo Boyd and Christopher Hamilton were charged with possession of a controlled substance and Richard Brandon Mullins was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and fleeing and evading police. Boyd has since been released on Bond.
