PIKEVILLE – The University of Pikeville softball team opens Mid-South Conference post-season play at 1:30 p.m. EST Friday against Georgetown College in Bowling Green.

Coach Robert Staggs young squad is coming off a record regular season, winning 26 games, the most in school history. The Bears finished 26-20 overall after splitting with Kentucky Christian University this past weekend in Grayson.

The winner of the UPIKE and Georgetown game will advance to face either Lindsey Wilson (37-12) or Cumberlands (16-32) later Friday evening.
