Water line break temporarily closes Pike County Health Department

Wednesday morning, when employees of the Pike County Health Department arrived for work, they found as much two inches of water standing in the second floor offices due to a water line break that had happened during the night. Director of the Health Department, Dr. Raphael Rangel, says the water that flooded the second floor also flooded the clinic below and then made its way down to the parking area. No equipment was damaged, but the Clinic is closed until the water damage can be repaired, which they hope will be sometime next week.
