Letcher Central fell behind early to host Estill County and the Cougars saw their season end as the Engineers rolled to an 11-2 win in the 14th Region tournament semifinals played on Monday night.
The Cougars wrapped up their season at 20-17 while Estill County moves on to the championship game against Hazard.
C.J. Akers had three hits and drove in one run while Austin Triplett added an RBI. Canaan Cunniff and losing pitcher Jonah Little each singled and scored.

Letcher Central pushed across a run in the top of the eighth inning to advance past Breathitt County, 3-2, in a quarterfinal-round matchup played at Estill County High School on Saturday.
Quinton Williamson had one hit, walked, and knocked in one run as the Cougars improved to 20-16. Ethan Brown added an RBI single. C.J. Akers singled, walked, and scored a pair of runs. Aiden Fields singled and scored.
Sam Little was the winning pitcher.
