PIKEVILLE, Ky. –  The Hillbilly Days festival in itself is a tradition now in its 43rd year.  However, there are several events at the festival that have become traditions within a tradition, and one of those is the “Hillbilly Days Pig Drop.”  Every year, people pay to put their names on a square inside a pig pen with the hopes the pig will, ummmmm, relieve itself on their spot.  EKB’s Makayla Meddings spent some time with Hillbilly Christmas in July’s Jimmy Kinney to get the scoop on the poop.
