90 mile police chase ends safely in Pike County

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. –  Just before noon Tuesday, more than 20 police officers from several different agencies were involved in a high speed chase that began in Ashland and ended in Pike County.  EKB News was there when the chase, that reached speeds as high as 130 miles per hour, came through Harold, and was able to interview the Boyd County deputy who was involved in the entire chase that began near the Ashland Town Center.  The 17 year old suspect was taken into custody without incident after his truck ran out of gas in the Green Meadows community.   Thankfully, in the nearly 90 mile chase, no crashes or injuries were reported.   Video of the actual chase and a bystander’s video of the arrest is in the video below.
