A Pike County man is facing felony imprisonment and intimidation charges following an incident in January.
52-year-old Kevin Hopkins, of Greasy Creek Road was arrested Thursday night. According to an arrest warrant served by Kentucky State Police, troopers responded to a 911 all at Hopkins’ residence January 25th, but were unable to make contact with the caller. Two hours later, a second 911 call brought troopers back to the residence.
According to the warrant, they made contact with a female who had marks on her head and body. The warrant said the female claimed Hopkins had assaulted her and prevented her from answering the door for police after she had called 911.
Hopkins was charged with first-degree unlawful imprisonment, intimidating a witness in the legal process and fourth-degree assault. Hopkins was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center and was ordered held on a $10,000 cash bond.
