Prestonsburg, KY — A bulldozer accident resulted in the death of a Prestonsburg man. According to Kentucky State Police at the Pikeville Post, the accident occurred just after 6 pm Monday in the Sycamore Hollow area on KY RT 194. Investigating Troopers determined that 70-year-old Larry Blackburn was operating the dozer and had fallen off the machine as it rolled forward. Blackburn was pinned underneath resulting in his death. Blackburn was pronounced deceased at the scene by Floyd County Coroner Greg Nelson.
