MELVIN, Ky. — A drug raid in Floyd County resulted in the seizure of nearly a pound of meth, along with other drugs and stolen items.

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office raided a home at Melvin Friday night. During their search, deputies found not only a pound of meth, but also prescription pills, trafficking materials, thousands of dollars in cash, and several guns. They also found tools and other items that appear to match items stolen in the area recently.

Ellis “Big Eye” Hunter, 38, was arrested and initially charged with two counts of first-degree drug trafficking. However, the sheriff’s office says more charges are pending and additional arrests are possible.
