For the second time of the day, Gov. Andy Beshear on Sunday reported additional deaths in the wake of historic flash flooding across Eastern Kentucky.

The governor reported that 28 deaths have now been confirmed as a result of flooding. Counties reporting deaths include:

• 15 in Knott County, including four children from one family
• 6 in Breathitt County
• 3 in Perry County
• 2 in Letcher County
• 2 in Clay County
