FRANKFORT, Ky. — Local residents will have two chances over the next few days to let regulators know what they think about Kentucky Power’s request for a $94 million increase.
If approved, the proposal would see the average residential bill rise from $191 a month, to $225, an increase of 18 percent.
A virtual hearing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday night on the Public Service Commission’s website, psc.ky.gov.
An in-person hearing will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday night in the Pike County Courthouse.

The PSC will hold a final hearing to consider the request on Nov. 28.
