My name is Laveta Slone, and after much prayer for guidance, and speaking with some of you, along with my family, I’m honored to announce that I’m running for Magistrate in District 5 of Pike County.

I believe that leadership means standing up for what’s right — with honesty, compassion, and faith as our foundation. Our community deserves someone who listens, who leads with integrity, and who puts people before politics.
