Living in Eastern Ky. the majority of life and proud to say I am a coal miner’s daughter and a coal miners wife. Working many years with the public ranging in job positions where I have seen many needs in Eastern KY forgotten or never achieved and also rescuing animals in this area where there currently is needs. Being very dependent and hardworking I have always provided for my family and myself and focused giving back to my community through my animal rescue.

My educational journey began at UPIKE graduating with a Bachelors in Science, then moving to Big Sandy Technical for my Certified Nurse’s Assistant, then to Mortuary school at Southeast Technical graduating with an associates and top honors, then my Licensed Practical Nurse degree also at Southeast, and lastly my masters from Morehead State University in the MAT program.

My focus is to bring a change to our small community by inspiring action and being authentic. As Abraham Lincoln stated at one time “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

Serving my community is my priority with being committed to change. The more we stand as a community to work for new vision for our youth the more the upcoming years will hold more opportunities for everyone. Focusing on our community and working with all individuals whether it is first responders or the general public who play a part with coroner’s position. I am very optimistic about all the emergency responders and working with a conclusion for every case involved and being on scene as needed. My focus is to have myself readily available and always open for every case we work. I realize first responders’ roles are very time consuming and proud to be considered to be a part of their roles if given the opportunity to be our next Coroner.

My slogan is Clear plan, bold action, and ignite a passion for getting results.
