PAINTSVILLE, Ky. –Two men were arrested in Paintsville Wednesday night, after police pulled them over for swerving and found meth in their car.
Paintsville Police pulled over the car driven by Bobby Daniels, 57, of Pikeville, and occupied by David Lee Ward, 56, of Nippa, after spotting their car weave across the center line of Route 321 several times. Daniels explained that he was looking at a Harry Potter sword while driving, which caused him to swerve.
A search of the car turned up three small bags of meth and a glass pipe under the passenger seat.
Both men denied the items were theirs, so they were both arrested for meth trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
