PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A two-vehicle crash on U.S. 23 in Pikeville tied up traffic late Wednesday afternoon.

Police are still gathering information, but they say it appears one of the vehicles involved was driving on the wrong side of the highway and ran head-on into another.

Four people were transported to Pikeville Medical Center for treatment.

The investigation is continuing.
