In downtown Pikeville stands a tree where little white cards hanging from the branches blow in the wind.  On those cards are hundreds of handwritten prayers from people throughout the area.  Located in the front yard of Reed and Misty Potter, the Prayer Tree welcomes visitors daily, who are encouraged to sit, pray and then tie those prayers to the branches.
