Adams Middle School students learn entrepreneurship

As communities grow and advance in many ways, so should our education systems. Adams Middle School hosts an annual entrepreneurship fair for their 7th and 8th graders to prepare them with the knowledge they need to succeed in the business world. Business & Career teacher at AMS, Norm Marcum says that the students must construct project boards, create either a service or good, develop strategies, target their consumers, and make a profit from sales. Marcum also says that this is a great way to develop future business leaders by teaching them important business traits while they have fun and develop social skills. Marcum also mentions that the winners of their business competition will advance on to the regional competition held at the Knott County SportsPlex on November 20th.
