PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Community Trust Bancorp Vice Chairman, President and CEO Mark A. Gooch has announced that Cynthia L. “Cindy” Adkins has been promoted to the position of Executive Secretary, Stock Transfer Administrator of Community Trust.

Adkins’ responsibilities include receiving, reviewing and validating of securities received for processing; publishing earnings releases and other press releases; filing SEC Forms 3, 4, and 5; processing the quarterly beneficial ownership procedures; processing dividend payments; and the processing of restricted stock grants. Her office is located at 346 North Mayo Street in Pikeville.

Adkins has worked at Community Trust Bank for more than 20 years in the Finance Department. She attended Mullins High School in Pikeville and is currently attending Kentucky Community & Technical College in pursuit of a business degree. She is a volunteer with 4-H Adult Council and at 4-H Camp, and is a member of the Pikeville Woman’s Club. She resides in Pikeville.
