
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Traditional music lovers can look forward to seeing one of the biggest acts in the genre, as 27-time Grammy winner Alison Krauss and Union Station are coming to Pikeville next year.
The Appalachian Wireless Arena will host Krauss and company on May 23, as part of the band’s 70-stop Arcadia tour with special guest Theo Lawrence. The tour comes on the heels of the group’s eighth studio album, also called Arcadia, which is their first in 14 years.
Artist presales are going on now and local presales will begin Thursday, but general sales being at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 12, at Ticketmaster and the Community Trust Bank box office.
