LEX 18 reports Curtis Lee Wyatt pleaded not guilty to charges he assisted Conn in his escape.

Wyatt is alleged to have assisted Conn’s disappearance by setting up a Mexican bank account, scouting border crossings into Mexico, and obtaining a 2002 Dodge Ram believed to be the vehicle in which Conn fled.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert Wier allowed Wyatt to remain under house arrest until his trial on Dec. 18.
