HARGIS, Ky. – One man had to be airlifted from the scene following a shooting Monday morning in Johnson County. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident that happened just after 10am in the Hargis community. Although many details have not been released, Johnson County Sheriff Dwayne Price did confirm the altercation was between a stepfather and stepson, with the stepson being shot. The man, who has not been identified, was airlifted from the scene Monday morning to Pikeville Medical Center. From there, he was airlifted once again to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
