Startup Appalachia’s first-ever Pitch Competition will be September 5th at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church on Main Street, but the deadline for the competition is Friday, August 16th before midnight. The winners receive $5,000 for first place, $2,500 for second place, and $1,000 for third place. SOAR Director of Innovation Ryan Jones encourages anyone looking to start or grow their business to apply for this competition and help entrepreneurship grow in our community.
