Johnson County, Ky.–It happened early Saturday morning when the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a burglary at an Asa Creek Road residence in Johnson County.

When Deputies arrived they found 31-year old Gerardo Canuto of Prestonsburg being held at gunpoint by the homeowner.

Canuto was found with a bag that contained a loaded BB gun, two ropes, and a pair of gloves.

He allegedly told deputies he had drank 12 beers earlier that morning.

Canuto was arrested and charged with 1^st degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, carrying a concealed weapon, and alcohol intoxication.
