PIKEVILLE, Ky. — First responders were called to Velocity Market on Hambley Boulevard Friday morning, after a car drove through the front of the building.

Pikeville Public Safety Director Paul Maynard said the driver apparently hit the gas instead of the brake while parking in front of the store.

The driver was uninjured. A cashier in the store was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
