PIKEVILLE, Ky. — This month, Walters Toyota and Walters Nissan in Pikeville are hoping to boost security at area schools.

In light of recent school safety concerns, Walters Toyota and Walters Nissan is donating a dollar for every Facebook follower, up to $10,000.

The money will be donated to school boards to protect students. Whether it’s shelters, metal detectors, guards, whatever the need may be, Walters Toyota and Walters Nissan want superintendents to have the funds needed to protect students.

The Facebook campaign will last throughout the month of March.
