Paintsville, KY — Responding to a possible DUI with a child complaint led Paintsville Police Officers to arrest two people. According to authorities, Officers quickly located the vehicle described which was driven by 38-year-old Christopher Allen Clayton of Norwalk, Ohio. During the investigation, Officers detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Clayton and they noticed a child was not in proper restraint. Clayton was given field sobriety tests and then arrested. A female passenger, Natasha Danielle Marshall of San Diego, California had also been drinking and was arrested. Clayton was charged with DUI 1st Offense, Endangering the welfare of a minor, failure to used child restraint devices and Menacing. Marshall was charged with Public Intoxication and endangering the welfare of a minor. Both were lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center where Clayton remains.
