Pike County, Ky.–Coal Run Village began preparations today for an event that will highlight not only local businesses, but local artisans as well.

The first Coal Run Halloween Night Market is set for this Friday and will provide a little something for everyone to enjoy.

“When they come into the park we are going to have some great local food vendors here, we are going to have Peking and roasted here giving different offerings of their local businesses. We will also have a ton of arts and craft vendors lining the walkways here at the park and then we will actually have live music. Food City has offered to sponsor a costume contest for four different age groups. They will be giving prizes away and every entrant is going to get a gift bag that night.”

Sword went on to say that another Night Market is being planned for December. The Coal Run Halloween Night Market will be held Friday, October 27th from 6-10 pm at the city park.
