COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Bears rally past Blue Raiders on Senior Day

The University of Pikeville Bears overcame a double-digit, halftime deficit to rally past Lindsey Wilson College, 93-87, on Senior Day in a game played at the UPIKE Gymnasium on Saturday.

The Bears, now 11-11 overall, landed four players in double figure scoring, led by Jamir Simpson’s game-high 29 points. Christian Sweazie followed with 21 while Malcolm Green net 13 and Korbin Spencer added 11.

UPIKE will travel to Bethel University on Feb. 18.
