Prestonsburg,Ky.– In Kentucky, hospitalizations due to babies being born addicted have grown over 5,000% in the past 15-years. EKB’s Shawn Allen attended a conference today held by the Big Sandy Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Coalition and Ky Perinatal Association at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg where efforts are being made to combat those skyrocketing numbers.
