FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky surpassed a quarter-million cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, as the state saw nearly 3,000 new cases.
Twenty-eight more Kentuckians have died, raising the death toll to 2,440.
More than 1,600 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, including 413 in intensive care and 222 on ventilators.
The state’s positivity rate is currently 8.35 percent.
