Curbside meal plan available by Pike School District for children/students 18 yrs. and younger

A large number of local entities are coming together to provide free curbside meals to children and students.

According to the Pike County Schools website, the Pike County Food Service Program in conjunction with the Pike County Board of Education, School Administrators, School Staff, Department of Transportation, and Department of Maintenance will provide these free meals for children/students 18 years of age or younger.

Curbside pick-up has been set up at the following schools for Thursday, April 30 between the hours of 10:00 PM – 2:00 PM:

  • Belfry High School
  • Bevins Elementary
  • Valley Elementary
  • Dorton Elementary
  • East Ridge High School
  • Feds Creek Elementary
  • Elkhorn City Elementary
  • Millard School
  • Pike Central High School
  • Johns Creek Elementary
  • Kimper Elementary
  • Phelps Elementary

Pike County School officials are asking for those who are in need to arrive at the school your child attends or the nearest school to your home before 2:00 PM to ensure that your child will receive a meal.

It is required that children must be present with the adult to receive meals.
