A Letcher County man is found dead in a pond on his neighbors property.

It happened Thursday afternoon at a home on Cornett Branch Road in the Linefork community.
According to Kentucky State Police, 60-year-old Darrell Eugene Maggard of Linefork drove his vehicle into the pond sometime during the previous night.
The van Maggard was driving was submerged in the pond and his body was found outside of the vehicle in the water.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
While the incident remains under investigation, no foul play is being suspected at this time.

Maggards body was sent to the state medical examiners office for an autopsy and toxicology results are pending.
