SHELBIANA, Ky. — A death investigation is underway in Pike County.

Randy Thomas, 57, of Dry Fork in Shelbiana, was found dead in his home Monday night.

According to Sheriff Rodney Scott, the landlord hadn’t seen Thomas since last Tuesday. Police say after not getting an answer at the door, the landlord called 9-1-1.

Upon arrival, police found Thomas unresponsive.

His body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy. It was determined Thomas died of natural causes.
