Mingo County, WV — The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic complaint Tuesday in the Matewan area in Mingo County, West Virginia. When Deputies arrived at the residence in the Mitchell Branch area, they arrested Nathaniel Gage Chapman of Matewan on charges of 1 count Domestic Assault, 1 count Obstructing an Officer, 1 count Person Prohibited from Possessing a Firearm and 1 count Possession of a Controlled Substance. Deputies also arrested Porshia Smith on a charge of Obstructing an Officer.
