Drug Bust With Phony Money

Logan county, WV — Acting on a concern citizen’s complaint regarding drugs, Logan County Sheriff Deputies responded to a residence in Holden, West Virginia. Deputies spoke with 35-year-old Jeffrey Spry who gave deputies permission to search his residence. Deputies observed a glass container in plain view with a crystal-like substance in it believed to be meth. Additional containers were found in the residence along with more meth. Nearly 44 grams of meth was seized along with scales, drug paraphernalia and two counterfeit $100.00 bills. Spry was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver meth and possession of counterfeit money and lodged in the Southwestern Regional Jail.
