Education commissioner plans virtual listening tour

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky Education Commissioner Jason Glass is planning a series of virtual meetings this spring to take suggestions from the public on how to improve the state education system.

There will be a meeting for each of Kentucky’s eight educational cooperatives, plus a ninth for Louisville.

The Kentucky Valley Education Cooperative in Hazard will have its meeting on May 4. The Kentucky Educational Development Cooperative in Ashland will hold its meeting on May 6. Both meetings start at 6 p.m. and are expected to last about 90 minutes.
