PAINTSVILLE, Ky. — Last night, we told you about a Salyersville man who allegedly assaulted the Magoffin County jailer and escaped custody, as he was being taken to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Shortly after that story aired, he was taken back into custody.

Jeremy Arnett, 36, was being taken to the jail along with two other prisoners, when he began to complain of becoming sick. Jailer Brian Montgomery stopped and helped Arnett out of the vehicle, when Arnett allegedly attacked him.
After a brief scuffle, he then fled into the forest. He was located later back in Magoffin County.
Arnett now faces new charges of escape and assault, to go along with an assault charge he was initially facing when being taken to jail.
