Breathitt County Ky: An unidentified person is dead, following a fiery crash in Breathitt County early this morning. The incident happened around 2 o’clock this morning on Route 10-98, at South Fork. Officers and rescuers responding to the scene found a vehicle engulfed in flames, with human remains inside. Police say their investigation indicates the vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a tree, before catching on fire. The remains have been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for autopsy and identification. The incident remains under investigation.
