Johnson County, KY — UPDATE — The investigation into a fatal traffic crash in Johnson County continues. Two Magoffin County residents were killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County. Kentucky 460 near the Johnson – Magoffin County line was closed for several hours following the crash that happened around 3:30pm. Kentucky State Police say a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Tonya Fletcher of Salyersville collided with a logging truck. The passenger, 23-year-old Timothy Rowe, also of Salyersville, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Johnson County Coroner’s office. Fletcher was transported to Paul B Hall hospital, where she died a short time later. The crash remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
